Week of 4/5/21 - 4/9/21

  • Monday, April 5 - Begin and end coldplaning (grinding off top layer of asphalt), Cabot Street closed from Pond Street to Federal Street, traffic detoured off of Cabot Street at West Dane and Bow Street.

  • Tuesday, April 6 - Leveling / Grading work, Cabot Street closed from Pond Street to Federal Street, traffic detoured off of Cabot Street at Pond Street and Bow Street.

  • Wednesday, April 7 - Raising of structures by Verizon and National Grid, minimal traffic disruption.

  • Thursday, April 8 - Raising of structures (manhole covers) by the City, one lane of traffic on Cabot Street at various times throughout the day.

  • Friday, April 9 - Raising of structures by City continued, one lane of traffic on Cabot Street at various times throughout the day.

NOTE: As with all construction work, timelines can change due to weather and crew availability. Additionally, safety is the City's first priority. The determination of lane closures is made daily by the on-site police detail according to what is safest for the public.
